Beached

The traditional Junior Beach Carnival, involving students in Years 1 – 3 was recently held at the beautiful Busselton foreshore.

In what has become a popular event amongst students and parents alike, the smallest Cornerstone students competed in an array of games and races, designed to deliver fun competition amongst the participants. From running races, water events, swimming and even a sandcastle building competition, the students enthusiastically engaged in everything on offer.

The team of parents at Cornerstone once again outdid themselves, with the volunteers exceeding the number of tasks. Over 35 parents put up their hands to assist, with organiser Mr Caleb Murphy astounded at the enthusiastic support shown.  The College is absolutely delighted to have such a committed team of parents who are so engaged with the school community, and who are willing to stand in support of our staff. For them, we are especially grateful.

To Mr Murphy, as well as the other staff who took on roles for the day, special mention must be made. We are indeed blessed to have so many remarkable teachers and support staff who helped bring the day together.

A great way to celebrate living in a great place. We love Busselton!
